Help Victims of Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael barreled across the Gulf of Mexico and took direct aim at the Florida-Alabama Panhandle. The destructive winds, rain, and unprecedented flooding put millions at risk. Then the storm swept across Georgia and the Carolinas – weaker, but bringing more rain and wind to communities still reeling from last month’s Hurricane Florence. It will be days before people will be able to fully assess the devastation to their homes and communities.

Recognizing the challenges so many will face in the coming days, weeks, and months – especially vulnerable older adults who have been affected – AARP Foundation has created a relief fund to support the victims of Hurricane Michael. To meet their needs, AARP and AARP Foundation will match – dollar for dollar – contributions up to a total of $500,000.

AARP Foundation will direct 100 percent of all funds raised to organizations that are providing relief and assistance to disaster victims in the stricken areas. Every dollar will make a difference.

Please provide much-needed support to relief efforts with your voluntary, tax-deductible gift today.
